• Differential between fixed, flexible, regular and discretionary expenses.

3. Homework: Ask someone at home (parent, grandparent, older sibling, etc) for which categories they budget
• Do NOT ask for amounts - that can make some people uncomfortable. Just find out what expenses they have to plan for each month (i.e. rent, car payment, cable, etc)
